Paola has worked in the financial department of DRCLAS since July 2006, as the coordinator of Faculty Grants at the Center. She was born in Mexico City, and she worked six years at the Foreign Trade Bank of Mexico (Bancomext), a development institution in charge of promoting exports and imports related to Mexican business. In 2000 she obtained an MSc Development Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She also holds a BA in Business Administration from ITESM-Mexico, and currently she is engaged in the ALM Program in Literature and Creative Writing at The Harvard Extension School.

Languages: Spanish, English, some fluency in Portuguese.
