Recognizing the range of talents related to Brazil, and the demands on the time of all faculty, in 2009 DRCLAS established a Brazil Studies Program Steering Group comprised of nine faculty members drawn from the larger Brazil Studies Program Faculty Advisory Committee. Currently chaired by Professor Scot Martin, this new Steering Group meets periodically to provide guidance and advice to the DRCLAS Director and Brazil Studies Program staff.
