This course is offered by the Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH) in collaboration with the Fiocruz's Centro de Pesquisa Gonçalo Moniz and leading public health institutions in Brazil. The course, which is organized with the support of the Brazil Studies Program at Harvard University's David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies (DRCLAS), will take place in Salvador, Bahia (Brazil) from January 4th to January 20th, 2010 and will include faculty and students from HSPH and from top Brazilian universities and institutions.

The 2010 course builds on successful experiences in the inaugural course, held in January 2008 at the Santa Casa de Misericórdia de São Paulo Medical School (Santa Casa), and the January 2009 course hosted by the Fiocruz in Bahia.
