Application and Program Costs
Application
Students interested in participating in the Harvard College Program in Cuba should complete and submit the Harvard College Degree Credit for Study Out of Residence Form to OIP. The following information should be submitted to DRCLAS:
* Harvard College Program in Cuba Application
* Student Travel to Cuba License Application Form
* Two-page essay on objectives of participating in the Harvard College Program
* Tentative list of courses for program of study during the semester
* Demonstration of good command of the Spanish language (such as advanced Spanish
course at Harvard, or letter from instructor)
* Academic transcripts from Harvard University
* Resume or CV
* Photocopy of passport and student ID
* Proof of health insurance
* Letter of recommendation from a Harvard faculty member, resident dean, or teaching fellow

Please note that you must submit the Harvard College Degree Credit for Study Out of Residence Form to the Office of International Programs (OIP).
Program CostsThe total semester program costs includes international airfare, tuition, lodging, program fees, a one-week orientation program, cell phone and pre-paid $10 credit, special Harvard activities, seminars, one organized trip outside Havana, and enrollment for credit at the University of Havana. A Resident Director is also on-site for the duration of the program and accompanies students on all activities.
