Colombian and Peruvian poets living in the United States will take a look at the significance of Andean poetry in the diaspora and beyond.

Poets include Julio Ortega, Brown University; Maria Mercedes Jaramillo, Fitchburg State University; Rafael Dávila, Boston University; Clara Ronderos, Lesley University; Xavier Echarri, U Mass Dartmouth; and Lucía Ortiz, Regis College.  .

The one-hour-discussion will be followed by poetry readings, accompanied by a wine and cheese reception.

The event will be in Spanish.
