DRCLAS makes a small number of grants of up to $25,000 for researchconferences. Most grants total between $6,000 and $10,000. Facultymembers are encouraged to seek other funding sources to supplement andleverage Center support. Center-supported conferences ordinarily areco-sponsored by other Harvard or external entities, and need not beheld at the University. Conferences often result in published volumes. Applicants' proposals and budgets must include information about othersources of funding and sponsorship.
