DRCLAS will consider proposals to fund short term scholarly visitors, distinguished lecturers, or performers for periods of up to two weeks. Short Term Associates are expected to give a major public lecture or a series of presentations. Maximum award is $10,000. Preference is given to proposals for candidates whose visit would have maximum impact in the Harvard community through such activities as participating in faculty seminars or courses; workshops or other research collaborations; events at residence halls; or extra-curricular activities sponsored by student groups. Proposals must include the CV of the associate, a tentative schedule for the visit with dates for presentations, a list of possible co-sponsors and their level of support, and a detailed budget.
