The next decade of higher education in Latin America and the Caribbean will have a very important influence in the region's future. Authors from the latest ReVista on universities will discuss trends and innovations that are shaping higher education today as the growing importance of a university education in gaining personal freedoms continues to stimulate growing demand for access to university in Latin America. What the leaders of higher education in Latin America do over the next decade will determine how pivotal universities become to the future of the region and how they keep up with the reinvention of universities taking place in the rest of the world.
