This field course is a joint initiative of Harvard's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) [3] and the Brazil Office of the David Rockefeller Center for Latin America Studies' (DRCLAS) [4]. Headed by Scot Martin [5], Gordon McKay Professor of Environmental Chemistry, the course will include Brazilian students and faculty from throughout the country.
