Corporate Partners Program

The Center launched the Corporate Partners Program (CPP) in 1997 to provide business executives with direct access to Harvard's extensive resources on Latin America and to promote collaboration on issues of mutual interest.

Since its inception, membership in the Program has grown from 2 to 21 companies, including firms from several industries and business sectors. Currently, the member roster includes corporations from Argentina, Chile, El Salvador, Mexico, and Peru, as well as 10 U.S. companies with business interests in the region.

The Center's Corporate Partners Program offers companies interested in Latin America a chance to harness Harvard's unparalleled resources on the region. Corporate Partners are invited to participate in executive-level seminars on business in Latin America, directed by eminent scholars and cutting-edge industry leaders. These events address compelling economic, political, and social trends in Latin America, and offer members a chance to interact in an informal setting with a group of leading experts from academia and industry.

Corporate Partners also help create the opportunities for education and innovative scholarship that lie at the heart of the Center's mission. Funding from the Program supports Harvard faculty members' research on topics important to the future of business in the region, including free trade and corporate social responsibility.

The Program's member roster comprises an exclusive group of U.S. and Latin American companies in fields ranging from industrial concerns and investment banking to publishing and global media. The Center is always eager to expand the member base, particularly in Latin America, to ensure that the perspectives of business leaders from the region are well represented at each seminar.
