Archivo Histórico, Museo Nacional de Arqueología, Lima, Peru. (A project to prepare a catalog of holdings in the Museum’s Archivo Histórico.) $10,000.

Biblioteca Francisco de Burgoa, Universidad Autónoma ?Benito Juárez, Oaxaca, Mexico. (A project to upgrade the library’s microfilming facility, train staff in using the equipment, and begin a program to microfilm endangered materials from the collection.) $10,000.

Biblioteca Histórica Benjamín Vicuña Mackenna, Santiago, Chile. (A project to prepare a catalog of the library’s holdings, and to begin preservation work including storage in acid-free containers and some microfilming.) $9,500.
