Archivo Histórico de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires, Argentina.  A project to conserve historic maps and cartographic documentation.  $20,000.

Archivo Museo de La Ligua, La Ligua, Chile.  A project to organize and properly house the Archivo's holdings.  $6,700.

Archivo y Biblioteca del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores y Culto de Bolivia, La Paz, Bolivia.  A project to describe and preserve documents from the Archivo's "Fondo Colonial." $5,000.

Biblioteca Conmemorativa Orton, Instituto Interamericano de Cooperación para la Agricultura/Centro de Agricultura Tropical de Investigación y Enseñanza, Turrialba, Costa Rica.  A project to preserve and digitize unique works held by the Biblioteca Conmemorativa Orton.  $20,000.

Instituto Universitario ISEDET, Buenos Aires, Argentina.  A project to preserve holdings in the Instituto's "Biblioteca José María López."  $4,700.

Museo de Historia y Archivo Histórico de Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.  A project to preserve, catalog, and provide access to the Museo's "fondos prefecturales."  $10,000.

Museo Histórico Sarmiento, Buenos Aires, Argentina.  A project to provide acid-free folders and boxes for the Archivo's holdings, and to purchase a thermo-hygrometer and a room de-humidifier.  $2,800.

Archivo del Escritor, Biblioteca Nacional de Chile, Santiago, Chile.  A project to improve storage conditions for and conserve a part of the collection.  $10,000.

Archivo Histórico Provincial de Formosa, Formosa, Argentina.  A project to improve the Archivo's capacity through climate control and limited support for automation.  $17,500.

Archivo Personal Francisco Fonck, Viña del Mar, Chile.  A project to describe and conserve the collection.  $6,200.

Archivo San Francisco de Lima, Lima, Peru.  A project to catalog and preserve several document series from the Archivo's collections.  $15,000.

Biblioteca Pública do Estado de Pernambuco, Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil.  A project to  microfilm and conserve several serials from the Biblioteca's collections.  $14,900.

Centro Nacional del Patrimonio Fotográfico, Santiago, Chile.  Support for the Centro's "Rescate de la Memoria" project.  $14,200.

Corley Smith Library, Charles Darwin Research Station, Galapagos, Ecuador.  A project to
upgrade storage conditions and undertake conservation measures for selected holdings. $20,000.

Escuela Normal Superior No. 1, Buenos Aires, Argentina.  A project to improve conditions
for collections storage and user service in the Escuela's library and archive.  $9,900.

Sociedad de Investigación del Arte Rupestre de Bolivia, La Paz, Bolivia.  A project to prepare an online catalog and improve SIARB's technical equipment.  $6,815.

Archivo de Artistas Plásticos Chilenos, Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, Santiago, Chile. A project to prepare a guide to the archive, and to conserve and describe its "Luis Vargas Rosas" collection.  $7,000.

Archivo del Arzobispado de la Santísima Asunción, Asunción, Paraguay.  A project to prepare inventories and catalogs for several collections held by the Archivo.  $10,000.

Colegio de México, Mexico.  A project to prepare and host an initial organizational meeting of the proposed "Association of Latin American Central Bank Archives and Historians," which is then expected to result in concrete efforts to organize, describe, and conserve the associated documentation.  $14,500.

Fundação Arquivo e Memória de Santos, Santos, SP, Brazil.  A project to identify and then reformat historical documentation on Santos located in other repositories.  $10,000.

Instituto de Historia de Nicaragua y Centroamérica, Managua, Nicaragua.  A project to conserve the "Salvador Mendieta" and "Alejandro Bolaños" collections, and also some rare
and historic maps.  $14,900.

Unidad de Servicios Bibliotecarios y de Información, Universidad Veracruzana, Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico.  A project to continue cataloging materials from the "fondo antiguo."
