Archivo Arzobispal de Piura, Piura, Peru.  A project to conserve, describe, and make accessible a significant portion of the Archive's holdings.  $13,900.

Biblioteca "Raúl Augusto Cortazar," Museo Etnográfico "Juan B. Ambrosetti," Universidad de Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires, Argentina.  A project to provide basic conservation facilities and improved shelving for the Library.  $20,000.

Fundación Internacional Jorge Luis Borges, Buenos Aires, Argentina.  A project to conserve, describe, and make accessible the Library's holdings.  $17,500.

Instituto de Estudos Brasileiros, Universidade de São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil.  A project to clean and catalog the "José Honorio Rodrigues" collection.  $20,000.

September, 2007

Biblioteca del Instituto Universitario ISEDET, Buenos Aires, Argentina.  A project to conserve and restore a group of rare books held by the Biblioteca.  $12,590.

Biblioteca Juramir Ferreira Lima, Embrapa Amazônia Ocidental, Manaus, AM, Brazil.  A project to digitize various original documents held by the Biblioteca.  $6,620.

Centro de Servicios Bibliográficos, Fundación Xavier Albó, La Paz, Bolivia.  A project to install a security system in the Centro's library.  $10,000.

Hemeroteca Nacional de Guatemala "Clemente Marroquín Rojas," Guatemala, Guatemala.  A project to prepare preservation microfilm of the newspapers "Diario La República" and "Diario de Centroamérica," to the extent that the budget allows.  $10,000.

December, 2007

Archivo Baldomero Alejos, Lima, Peru.  A project to digitize the photographic negatives held by the Archivo.  $9,810.

Archivo Histórico del Banco de la República, Bogotá, Colombia.  A project to organize, conserve, and microfilm historical documents from the Archivo.  $5,000.

Biblioteca Central, Facultad de Agronomía, Universidad de Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires, Argentina.  A project to improve environmental conditions and preserve the holdings of the
Biblioteca Arata, a dependency of the Biblioteca Central.  $9,100.

Instituto de Etnomusicología, Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, Lima, Peru.  A project to preserve and digitize the recently acquired collections of Peruvian composers Daniel Alomía Robles and Teodoro Valcárcel.  $14,550.

Museo Ixchel del Traje Indígena, Guatemala, Guatemala.  A project to clean, conserve, and digitize the Museo's ethnographic slides collection.  $10,405.

Centro de Estudios Históricos e Información Parque de España, Rosario, Argentina. Support for CEHIPE's ongoing preservation reformatting activities within Argentina. $70,000.  (September, 2004)
