Improving Air Quality in Chile
Harvard School of Public Health Professor Petros Koutrakis of the Department of Environmental Health is involved in numerous collaborations with the Chilean governmental and non-governmental agencies and universities to conduct research on policy issues related to air pollution. Since 1996, the Environmental Health Program at the HSPH has been working on various air pollution and environmental health studies in Chile. The program also provides training and technology to support a number of air pollution studies in Chile. There are a number of doctoral students from Chile at the HSPH who are actively involved in the project.
