DRCLAS Summer Internship Program (SIP) in Chile
In Santiago, the program begins with an intensive week-long orientation in Spanish, allowing students to explore the capital and gain exposure to the economic, cultural, social, and political context in Chile. A program representative is on the ground in Santiago for the initial orientation week and supports students during their time in Chile.
During the first week, students meet their host organizations. Starting in the second week, students work full-time, four days a week at their internship site. On Fridays, students have the opportunity to reflect on their experience, travel, and interact with some of the country's most important political, artistic, and social leaders.
