Peggy Rockefeller Visiting Scholars and Fellows

This fellowship is funded by an anonymous
donor in memory of Peggy Rockefeller, wife of Center founder David
Rockefeller. The Peggy Rockefeller Fellowship provides support for a
Visiting Scholar or Fellow from any country whose work involves Latin
America.
Amalia Lacroze De Fortabat Visiting Scholars and Fellows
Argentina
Established through a gift from Amalia Lacroze
de Fortabat, this fellowship is restricted to scholars and
professionals from Argentina. Priority is given to those working on
issues related to public policy, social and economic development, and
other areas of importance for the development of Argentine scholarship
and professional life. (The De Fortabat Graduate Student Fellowships
also provide financial support for Argentine students who are admitted
to graduate degree programs at Harvard each year. For more information

Lemann Visiting Scholars and Fellows
Brazil
This fellowship was endowed with a gift from Jorge
Paulo Lemann and is available to scholars and practitioners from Brazil
or those who are working on Brazilian topics.
Central American Visiting Scholars and Fellows
Central America
The Central American Fellowship was created by endowment gifts from Federico Bloch; Ernesto Fernandez Holmann; Alejandro, Joaquin, and Miguel Gomez; Jose Ignacio Gonzalez; Carlos Lacayo; Jaime and Margarita Montealegre; Ricardo Poma; Adolfo Salume; Francisco de Sola; Francisco Soler; and Lorenzo Weisman. It is available to scholars and practitioners from Central America or those working on topics related to Central America.

The Luksic fellowship was created through a generous donation by
AndrĂ³nico Luksic Craig in 1999 and is available to scholars and
practitioners exclusively from Chile.
Santo Domingo Visiting Scholars and Fellows
Colombia and Ecuador
The Santo Domingo Fellowship in
Andean Studies was established with a gift from Julio Mario Santo
Domingo and is available to scholars and practitioners from Colombia
and Ecuador or those working on topics related to either of these two
countries.
Fundacion Mexico en Harvard-Antonio Madero Visiting Scholars and Fellows
Mexico
The Fundacion Mexico en Harvard-Antonio Madero Visiting Scholar fellowship is restricted to scholars and practitioners from Mexico. Priority is given to individuals working on current social and public policy issues, including economic development, education, public health, the environment, and political development. (The Fundacion Mexico en Harvard also provides partial financial support to Mexican citizens accepted into Harvard graduate and professional degree programs. The Wilbur Marvin Fellowship is made possible by a fund established at the Center in memory of Harvard graduate Wilburn Marvin. It is available to scholars focusing on Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, with preference given to researchers working on issued related to medicine, public health, the environment, education, and strengthening philanthropy.
