A program representative is on the ground in Lima for the initial orientation, after which students work independently of DRCLAS. Students typically work 4 days a week with a local organization. With the aid of DRCLAS, students organize opportunities for lectures, travel, and reflections.

In 2008, DRCLAS Summer Internship Program in Peru runs from Monday, June 16th to Friday, August 8th.
