SUMMER GRANTS FOR INDEPENDENT INTERNSHIPS
DRCLAS internship grants are intended for Harvard undergraduate and graduate/professional school students who have already obtained Latin American-related internships and seek funding to help cover basic expenses such as transportation, housing, and food.
Students applying for funding to cover the cost of a language course or a program fee are not eligible. Harvard College students applying to the DRCLAS Summer Internship Program (SIP) are also not eligible for this grant.
Please note that the David Rockefeller Center is unable to fund internship and research projects in destination countries that are deemed dangerous or unsuitable for travel by the United States Department of State; please consult the Department of State web site for current travel warnings and announcements, at http://travel.state.gov/. Applications for Summer 2008 Independent Internship Grants are due on February 12, 2010.
The Weissman International Internship Program provides full financial support for overseas internships for Harvard sophomores and juniors. For more information, please call (617) 495-2595 or visit the Office of Career Services International site.
