Join us for a research talk by Laura Fahrenkrog, Harvard-UAI Visiting Scholar and Associate Professor of History at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.

Labor history offers a powerful lens for understanding Indigenous musicians’ practices in early modern Latin America. By examining how their musical practices were entangled in a complex balance of labor and concessions, this presentation will discuss these individuals’ working dynamics in the Andes and Río de la Plata regions.

*Lunch will be provided for in-person attendees*
