The Mexican Cities Initiative Summer Research Fellowship has been established to fund innovative research on Mexico’s cities, open to all current GSD students and their collaborators. We solicit projects that offer new ways of envisioning Mexican cities and the role of humanist, design-based research in urban transformation, to research and communicate risk and resilience through the lens of everyday urbanism.

The 2017 Summer Research Fellows will present their findings from the field alongside guest critics Jose Castillo (Principal, a | 911), Enrique Cifuentes (Principal Research Scientist, Harvard School of Public Health), Belinda Tato (Co-founder, *ecosistema urbano)*, and Surella Segu (Loeb Fellow; Co-founder, *El Cielo* Architects).
