Join us for a presentation by Sebastian Gallegos, Harvard-UAI Visiting Researcher. This study presents, for the first time, evidence on educational mobility across three adjacent generations in six Latin American countries. The results indicate that multigenerational persistence is twice as high as in developed countries and 77% higher than the prediction obtained by iterating a two-generation model. By incorporating a third generation, this study provides a nuanced, long-term perspective on intergenerational mobility in the region.

*Lunch will be provided for in-person attendees*

*This event is presented in collaboration with the* [*Education Lab for Latin America*](https://ella.gse.harvard.edu/)
