The Department of Government at Harvard University and the Brazil Studies Program & Office of Harvard's David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies are partnering to offer an enriching internship experience in Brazil during summer 2024. Two highly qualified Government concentrators will receive a full stipend to take up one of the specified internship opportunities, while also being welcome to participate in cultural immersive activities led by DRCLAS Brazil. This eight-week program takes advantage of our strong network of relationships, local presence, and years of on-the-ground experience.  
 Internships will take place in leading Brazilian organizations mainly in the Southeast of the country. The Harvard-DRCLAS Brazil Office is located in Sao Paulo and will provide pre-orientation, on-the-ground logistical support - connecting students to Host Organizations, while offering optional cultural immersive activities.

Two highly qualified Harvard College Government concentrators, in good academic standing, will receive financial and logistical support, to fully fund their internship experience in Brazil. First-year students are not eligible.

Applicants will be asked to submit: • Updated resume (1 page max, in English) • Unofficial transcript from Spring 2024 semester • This serves as proof of current enrollment • Spring classes will not have grades listed, but are necessary to be listed • This may be downloaded as a PDF from my.Harvard • Internviews are a mandatory portion of the application process

**Portuguese Level:** No Portuguese necessary The Center of Politics and Economics of the Public Sector, CEPESP, was created in 2006. CEPESP gathers professors, students, and researchers from both the Business and the Economics Schools at FGV. The primary research question is the role performed by political and economic variables on explaining public policies. In other words, the researches aim at appraising the influence exerted by institutions (in a broad sense) on public policies’ decision-making.
