DESCRIPTION:<p>	The Future of Diplomacy Project is hosting a seminar with Former Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs at the U.S. Department of State, Ambassador Thomas Shannon, Jr. who will speak about his experience from inside the State Department in the first year of President Trump's presidency and about current American foreign policy. Ambassador Shannon was U.S. Ambassador to Brazil from 2010-2013 and was also Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs from 2005 to 2009.</p><p>	This event is open to the public.
