DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>Artistas y fotógrafos afrodescendientes en México</strong></p><p>Esta presentación se centrará en el proyecto editorial sobre artistas y fotógrafos afrodescendientes en México. Gracias al análisis de las redes de artistas y fotógrafos y de los contextos históricos regionales particulares, se presentará la información de 21 artistas, obtenida a través de entrevistas individuales, y algunas conclusiones preliminares.</p><p><strong>Afrodescendant Artists and Photographers in Mexico</strong></p><p>This presentation will focus on the editorial project on Afro-descendant artists and photographers in Mexico. Through the analysis of artists’ and photographers’ networks and specific regional historical contexts, information on 21 artists—gathered through individual interviews—will be presented, along with some preliminary conclusions.</p><p><em>Presented in collaboration with the Afro-Latin American Research Institute at the Hutchins Center.</em></p><p><em>This event will be held in spanish.</em></p>
