This talk explores how contemporary Latin American novels push beyond human-centered perspectives to connect with all forms of life—the human and the more-than-human. Through stories that problematize interspecies relationships and ecological awareness, these works challenge the limits of modern life and invite us to rethink how we relate to one another and to the environment.</p><p>By examining these narratives, the presentation reveals how imagination becomes a form of political action—one that shapes how we envision both the present and the future.</p><p><strong>Speaker</strong></p><p><strong>Alejandra Laera,</strong> Fall 2025 DRCLAS Robert F.
