 Veronica Figueroa Huencho is Associate Professor at the Institute of Public Affairs. Public Administration Degree at the University of Chile. She holds a PhD in Management Sciences from ESADE-University of Ramón Lull, Spain. She has been a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Latin American Studies at Stanford University and served as a University Senator representing the Interdisciplinary Institutes of the University of Chile for the period between 2018-2022. Her main research is on the formulation process and implementation of indigenous public policies in contexts of diversity. She has publications in ISI-indexed journals, and books and chapters with national and international publishers. Her book *"Formulation of Indigenous Public Policies in Chile: Evidence of Sustained Failure"* was the winner of the *"Juvenal Hernandez Jaque Rector Fund 2013"*, Awarded by the University of Chile. She has led and participated as a principal researcher and co-researcher in a variety of prestigious projects such as FONDECYT-CONICYT (Chile) and the Inter-American Development Bank, and the Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture.
