Learn more about Día de Muertos, one of Mexico’s most meaningful cultural traditions and a national symbol of remembrance and connection with departed loved ones.

The event will feature a live mariachi performance and traditional folk dance at 2:00 p.m., opportunities to personalize a sugar skull, and a community altar where visitors can leave messages for loved ones who have passed away. Hot chocolate and pan de muerto will also be available for purchase.

Regular museum admission rates apply. Event activities are free, except where noted. 

Limited free parking is available with registration.

This event is presented in collaboration with the Peabody Museum of Archaeology & Ethnology, the Harvard Museums of Science & Culture, and the Consulate General of Mexico in Boston.
