Harvard Summer Program in Brazil Student Info Session
Date and Time
Join us for a remote information session to learn more about the “Portuguese Language Immersion in Brazil: Justice, Equity, and Rights (PORT S-35)” program.
Over six weeks, students will immerse themselves in Brazilian culture and the Portuguese language while exploring some of the country’s most pressing social issues. Through engagement with individuals, collectives, and movements working toward a more just and equitable future, participants will gain valuable linguistic and cultural insight.
This course counts as one full-year course (8 credits) of degree credit, or as two half-year courses toward the foreign language citation. It also fulfills Harvard’s foreign language requirement.
Speaker: Cristiane Soares, Senior Preceptor in Portuguese
