By supporting and fostering a vibrant, multidisciplinary and diverse academic community, DRCLAS empowers scholars to advance the impact of their research and teaching. 

Visiting Scholars and Fellows Program

This program strengthens ties between Harvard and global institutions by hosting cohorts of distinguished academics and practitioners from varied disciplinary fields who conduct research in and on Latin America and the Caribbean. Through this program, DRCLAS forges research communities that span disciplinary fields and countries, providing a unique space for impactful collaboration.

Robert F. Kennedy Visiting Professorship

Each year, DRCLAS invites Harvard faculty to nominate eminent scholars or practitioners from the region for the prestigious Robert F. Kennedy Visiting Professorship in Latin American Studies. This program brings leading experts to Harvard, enriching the academic community with their knowledge and experience.
