The Ministry of Economy is responsible for formulating, conducting, regulating and controlling the general policies of industry, foreign and domestic trade, supply and prices of the country; with the exception of the prices of goods and services of the Federal Public Administration.

Internship Description

Interns will develop their skills in a Global Economic Intelligence Unit project. Interns must carry out research work on economic matters, specifically on foreign trade and foreign investment, to generate institutional papers.

Intern Responsibilities

  • Research in economic matters

  • Analyze foreign trade and foreign investment data

  • Write institutional documents on foreign trade and foreign investment

  • Develop research methodologies for specific cases 

Intern Qualifications

  • Advanced level of Spanish or Mandarin Chinese

  • Seniors or Graduate students in Social Sciences (preferably economics)

  • Research skills

  • Knowledge about foreign trade and foreign investment

  • Writing skills
