Jesella Zambrano
Jesella Zambrano joined the DRCLAS team in January 2024. In her role, she oversees the Center’s high-profile events and knowledge management. Zambrano is passionate about utilizing asset-based approaches to implement culturally-relevant programs for social impact. Early in her career, she received a Fulbright grant to support the implementation of the Inglês Sem Fronteiras program at the University of São Carlos in Brazil. She has experience working in a variety of settings including local government, K-12, and the nonprofit sector.
Zambrano is a first-generation Ecuadorian-American excited to support collaborative partnerships between the United States and Latin America. She received her B.A. from Cornell University where she majored in History and Spanish, and minored in International Relations, Law & Society, and Latin American Studies. She also holds an Ed.M. in International Education Policy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
