Sharon Ruiz Regino
Sharon Ruiz Regino joined the DRCLAS Brazil Office team as a Brazil Office Fellow for 2025-2026. She graduated from Harvard College with degrees in Romance Languages and Literatures & Art, Film, and Visual Studies. She also earned a DRCLAS certificate in Latin American Studies. During her time at Harvard College, she participated in the DRCLAS Summer Internship Program (SIP) in Chile, DRCLAS Mexico Winternship, Harvard Summer Program in São Paulo, Brazil, and Mentoring and Language Acquisition in Brazil (MLAB) program. In her current role at the Brazil Office, she supports program planning, as well as other initiatives with faculty, students, and researchers, helping the office strengthen collaborations between Harvard and Brazilian communities. Sharon is proud to have roots from Oaxaca, Mexico, and is ecstatic to learn more about Brazilian culture, literature and films.
