Rebelde: A conversation with Dora María Téllez

Join us for a candid conversation between Dora María Téllez and Tania Bruguera. Dora María is currently working on an account of her life spanning decades of activism: as commander of the Sandinista guerrilla in Nicaragua, high-level official of the socialist government, politician, fighter for LGBTQ+ rights, and fearless opponent in exile to the current dictatorship. Trained as a historian, her memoirs will weave her personal trajectory to the broader history of Latin American dictatorships and the movements of resistance that stand against them.
